Carton House Weddings are always special. I call it a ‘forget about the weather’ location, because it has so many places, inside and out, that are stunning for wedding photography.

Siobhan & Cathal’s Wedding

This is the wedding of Siobhan & Cathal. A lovely couple that grew up only 5 minutes apart. Which made it very easy for me to visit both locations on the morning of the wedding.

I arrived in Siobhan’s home first, and was delighted to meet up with my buddy Niall, one of Irelands best videographers from Complete Weddings. It is always a pleasure to work with Niall, and I know the day is going to go smoothly with him. Also there was the brilliant Emma Farrell – Make Up artist. Everyone was ready with time to spare, and her work speaks for itself in the photographs. Looking after all the girls hair styles was the fantastic Erica from Hair Creations. I don’t think one hair moved all day!!

Siobhan’s stunning wedding dress was from Ciara Rose Bridal in Celbridge, Co. Kildare, and really looks amazing in all the photographs. Cathal was dressed in a very dapper suit from Magee – Donegal Tweed.

The ceremony was held in St. Mochtas Church, Co. Dublin. It really is a special church to photograph a wedding in. The sunlight through the main stain glass window was amazing. The wonderful church music was by Siobhan’s friends, Eilis Moroney & Claire Walsh.

After the ceremony it was a short trip to Carton House. We stopped on the drive for 10 minutes of photographs, just in time to catch a stunning November sunset. After 3 more minutes of photographs at the back of Carton, it was time to let Siobhan & Cathal start partying, and Cathal’s brothers band Mid Term break were there to rock the place.
